Congratulations Willetton SHS

Congratulations to the Willetton Senior High School WAFC 8/9 Schoolboys team, who have taken out this year’s East Fremantle Metro district championship, going undefeated throughout the round robin competition.
The team has then proceeded through the next stage to claim the East Fremantle District Championship, having completed a stirring comeback against East Fremantle Country winners Nagle Catholic College in the Country vs. Metro final held in Jurien Bay. The performance showed great fighting spirit after the boys trailed by as much as 5 goals early in the 3rd quarter.
The final scores were Willetton SHS 11.2.68 def Nagle College 8.6.54
Willetton now move on to the Quarter Finals of the WAFC Schoolboys Cup where they face South Fremantle champions CBC, so we wish the boys the best of luck in what should be a great contest between the schools.
